As an Applied Technology Group Apprentice Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

:               Basic Qualifications:


Candidates must have 2 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree.


Candidates must also have an active/current TS/SCI Polygraph

o At least 3 years of experience of software development

o Or at least one (1) year of software testing experience or have experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels

o Proficient in the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports

o Javascript experience along with UI experience.

o Minimum of 1+ year of HTML and 1+ years with CSS

o Experience with Mainstream IDE’s (Eclipse)

o Experience with source controls (GITHUB)

o Experience with Apache Build Manager for JAVA projects. (MAVEN)

o Experience with Open Source tools for continuous integration. (Jenkins)

o Experience with development methodologies (Scrum, Agile, etc)

o Familiar with object oriented design and implementation.

o Experience programmatically testing code in the Selenium test suite based on JavsScript.

o Understanding of basic UNIX, DOS and Windows commands

o Shall have experience with SIGINT Software development within the DOD environment

o Shall have experience with working with and providing technical support to developers


Preferred Qualifications:

o Web Frameworks (AngularJS, EmberJS, BackboneJS, etc)

o Familiarity of interacting with RESTful endpoints

o Application Frameworks (Spring, Play, NodeJS, etc)

o Linux environment experience/comfort

o Container experience (Tomcat, etc..)

o UI Usability experience/design

o Experience utilizing a ticketing system (JIRA)

o Experience with databases (Mongo DB)

o Experience with Web UI helper libraries (jQuery)

o Experience with HTML5, CSS3

o Experience with Testing frameworks such as Selenium or SOAP UI

o Writing test cases and writing discrepancy reports

0 – 2 years’ experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration of hardware and software systems to include an understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, concepts of operation, interface standards, and system architectures

Basic understanding of Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies and languages

Developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations


TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
